Life Group!

Meet our new life group (2 families are missing).
We had Life Group tonight here at our house and I had my camera out taking pictures of Steven (see post below) and I took a few of the group. I have thoroughly enjoyed these Tuesday nights together!
Pictures:
Notice how Emile is reading the Bible in the back ground of our picture together (bottom picture). Emile is a theology graduate from Carson Newman. If you have any type of theological questions or just need the answer to the "meaning of life" ... I can get you her number.
Gentle Giant

We just started a new life group and we have made some fun new friends. Stephen is one of our new friends. His wife calls him "circus freak tall" but I like to think of him as a Gentle Giant. His wife CRACKS me up. Steven (not sure how he spells his name) and Emile are both tall people. She is 5'11 and he is 6'10. We were joking about me taking his picture but he said he's had his picture taken a lot because of his height. I asked him if he goes a day in life with out talking about it because when you meet him you can't help but talk about it with him. He has a ceiling fan trick he does... it makes me nervous but he puts his head right at the blades and let's them comb through his hair. (Don't try this at home).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY CRENSHAW

So... let me set the scene for you. Sweet Becky Crenshaw is sitting in Panera at 7am having her quiet time and I sneak in the door (she knew I was coming but she didn't know what I was coming with). I tip toed through the back of the restaurant and came up to her with my silly string in hand. I doused her with some silly string while screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I also had a balloon with me saying her AGE! She said it best when she said "You are proud of yourself aren't you?" answer... YES, I AM!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET FRIEND!
Meet Rachel... she's a big deal in Madisonville

Rachel is a new friend of the Ancelet family. We met through a mutual friend. She is a student here in Knoxville studying nursing. She came over for dinner on Wednesday night and brought us a yummy pumpkin bread. I was so impressed with the design on her bread. Her and I ran errands after dinner and it was so fun riding in her little sports car. We rode with the top down and my allergies are FLARRING today but I had a blast riding in her car!
Thanks Rachel!
PS - She is from Madisonville and I came up with this little saying while she was here "I bet you are a big deal in Madisonville". Her dad is a dairy farmer and from what I understand he's GOOD AT IT! Way to milk 'em!
WELCOME TO THE WORLD SAMUEL THOMAS
FRIENDS FRIENDS FRIENDS FRIENDS

That title was for each of the Randalls. (minus sweet Sammy). I kept the Randall kids the other day while Christy took Samuel to the doctor for his well check. Tori, Audrey, Bruce and Molly were all over and I was amazed that while 7 children were in our home I was able to sit and read. "HOW???" you ask? They play that well together.
They put on a wedding... I think Aidan and Tori got married. (no honeymoon... just a wedding).
Just had to post this picture... I thought it was cute. Molly and Bruce are missing from the picture.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA AND CHRIS

My precious friend, Amanda, moved to Texas (Waco) 4 months ago and my life FEELS THE VOID! I miss her LOTS! Well, just wanted to send her a SHOUT OUT and wish her a HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY! (Sept 18th) Her husband, Chris, celebrated his birthday the day after her... so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH BLOCKERS!
YOU GUYS ARE MISSED!!!!

CRITTER CRITTER

Avery is taking 4 classes as a co-op. One of her classes is a science class about animals. The name of the class is Critter Critter. Avery really enjoys this class a lot. I asked the teacher if Maggie could bring her pet snake, Lloyd, for show and tell. She said SURE! So, Maggie came up today to Thursday Connection with Lloyd in his travel case. The kids got to ask her tons of questions. It was a hoot! THANKS MAGGIE!
PUPPETS

The kids did a little craft project yesterday. Their craft instructor was none other than.... AVERY. Her and I were in the basement doing school and we just finished phonics and Aidan and Addie came down and were playing. Addie had a paper sack and Avery said "You can make a puppet out of that". So I said "Why don't you show them how". AND SHE DID. She did an awesome job. WAY TO GO AVERY! So then we had a puppet show in the kitchen behind the island... what a great idea! THANKS AVERY!

WELCOME BACK TO LIFE!
My kids had a "welcome back to life" party or should I say the welcome back to the living room! I have been in my bed now for 3 full days. I came down with this year's "bug" and it was a DOOZY. I don't think I have ever been this sick.... EVER.
Avery coordinated a party and made me a Lego cake (which is good because I couldn't eat real cake anyway). They all wore costumes. Ted made cinnamon rolls. I just sipped on Gatorade. I am really hoping that today is the day I am better. I am just gonna take it real slow.
Thank you Ted for taking care of me! YOU ARE THE BEST! And my kids were soooo good to me too. I am truly blessed!

DOLLYWOOD
Today we spent our day at Dollywood... which was so much FUN! Robin Beebe and I went to a McDonalds that just opened close to her house and got free tickets to Dollywood. WHAT A TREAT! Since both of our families are on a serious budget we couldn't be more excited!
We had such a great time at the park. It is a great place. We were there for about 6 hours. We went mainly to a kids area but it wasn't all kiddie rides. My stomach turned on a couple of them. I learned that I DO NOT LIKE THE FERRIS WHEEL. The riding it was fine... it was the stopping at the very top to let people off. I stayed calm so that my girls wouldn't freak out but when Avery started rocking the cart... that was too much. I think she thought it was funny that I didn't like it too much. We rode several more rides. We ate lunch there and then headed over to this really cool interactive area. The kids got all wet (though we were already wet from a ride we rode.) Then we headed home! We thought Addie would sleep the whole way home... we were WRONG. The Cards came over and brought burgers to grill for dinner. It was a great time with them as well. We had a GREAT day!
