We made a trip to the zoo. If you look in the Archives of this blog you'd see the same pictures because we went often last year. I am real thankful that we got to go this week. We aren't buying a pass this year (due to lack of funds :-). BUT WE GOT TO GO because Amanda's pass was good for one more week and she moved this past Tuesday (see post below). So I took the kids to the zoo this past Thursday. (THANK YOU AMANDA). The kids had a blast. It really is a fun place to go. Several of our friends have passes so the Randalls met us there and Becky Crenshaw and her boys met us as well. We brought Maggie (one of my college girls) with us as well. We packed a picnic and hung out at the zoo for hours. They have this great park there called Kid's Cove. There is a huge sand box, a play area, a water area, etc. It's a fun zoo.
ADDISON TOUCHED A COCK ROACH at the zoo. They have this room with a Bug exhibit (that Avery was WAY INTO) and this woman had some roaches in a case. She was holding them... like they were her pets. It was GROSSING ME OUT. I asked Addie "You want to pet it?" She said "yes!" WHAT WAS SHE THINKING!!!
